Kacha is a natural, handcrafted, and sustainable potato chip brand from Shanghai, China. With those elements in hand, it was important to maintain the feeling of naturality and handcrafting built by the brand to keep and align with existing customers.

Creating new packaging without removing the real "natural handmade" feeling was a great challenge. Brands and industries experiencing big growth always struggle with keeping the same image through the years and maintaining customer trust. It's important to show your roots and hold your customers with consistent product quality.


The first initial challenge was to maintain the same logo style but bring a more strong and reliable feeling.

CREATE A STRONGER BRAND PRESENCE AND REFRESH CORE PACKAGINGS WITHOUT LOSING THE NATURAL FEELING AND SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH.

Together with the packagings, Kacha offers a variety of spices to "spice up" the experience. Flavors from all over the world were selected and tested to bring many different sensations and emotions to a variety of customers in China. It was a must to create the packagings for the flavors that could be easy to open and use, and at the same time, be simple and easy to understand. The big text and colors can indicate easily what type of flavor is it.

To be even more helpful at parties and big events, Kacha offers stickers based on the flavors to identify each potato chip bag with the designated flavor.
